93 point Gorman Syrah Blend: Another Tasty Devil

Chris Gorman's "Devil" line of wines has been one of the most successful Washington wine projects of the last decade. From our perspective, it's simple: pack amazing flavor into a sub-$30 bottle and the market will respond.
The market has spoken again, with another great review -- 93 points from Wine Spectator -- for the newest Devil wine, Old Scratch Syrah/Grenache/Mourvedre 2015. As always with the Gorman Devils, we expect this to sell quickly.

Gorman Old Scratch Syrah/Grenache/Mourvedre 2015
$26.95 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case* order
($29.95 regular)
93 points Wine Spectator: "Lively and full of personality, with raspberry, smoked pepper and orange peel aromas that open to zesty, layered red plum and licorice flavors that move at a snappy pace toward the finish. Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre. Drink now through 2024."

In our opinion, this should be labeled as a Syrah -- it's 80% Syrah, with 10% each Grenache and Mourvedre -- but we won't hold that against Gorman because this wine over-delivers.
