2012 Dusky Goose Official Release

Greetings Oregon Pinot fans,

Today marks our official release of 2012 Dusky Goose Dundee Hills and Rambouillet Vineyard Pinot noirs. Our spring pre-release offer of 2012 Dundee Hills caused quite a stir in our customer base (and lots of re-orders!). We've tasted both wines several times and highly recommend both.

Our knowledge and support of these wines runs deep; we are the only wine store in the country to have sold every single vintage (2002 to 2012!) of Dusky Goose. As such, we feel comfortable writing that these are the best wines Dusky Goose has made.

Dusky Goose Pinot noir Dundee Hills 2012

$62.95 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case* order ($69.95 regular)

The aromas command your attention, signaling near-arrival of deliciousness. Red fruits, cinnamon, and lavender waft from the glass. The silky smooth flavors of dark cherries glide effortlessly, dancing with sarsaparilla accents. A wonderful Pinot-fruit purity sails on the deep finish. As is typical, this is drinking beautifully already, with a seamlessness from the extra bottle aging. Drink now through 2025. We've received raves about this wine and significant re-orders -- one glass and you'll likely see why.

Dusky Goose Pinot noir Rambouillet Vineyard 2012

$80.95 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case* order ($89.95 regular)

Dusky Goose and winemaker Lynn Penner Ash select the finest handful of barrels from their Rambouillet estate vineyard in the Dundee Hills for this very rare bottling. The 2012 Rambouillet is an ideal candidate for long-term cellaring, harnessing the gorgeous fruit of 2012 with a more structured frame. This under-the-radar release is one of Oregon's most exclusive wines and a classic selection for the most discriminating Oregon Pinot collector. Drink now with an hour of decanting but best from 2018 through 2030.
